Are Omnisphere installations free of charge?
I can’t imagine a situation where Omnisphere, or any other preset patch, would NOT be royalty free.
You are free to use these sounds and banks in any way you can to create music that is as amazing as possible!
If it helps you rest even easier at night, let me say that a lot of things CAN be copyrighted (melodies, vocals, etc.) but the sources of the sounds that play them, AKA presets, are nearly impossible to be continued.
It’s like trying to buffer the sound of guitar strings playing on a recording. It’s just too impossible to try.
Why is Omnisphere so expensive? And is it worth it?
Sitting at a price tag of over $400, it’s no wonder many growers are skeptical of buying Omnisphere 2. Is it really worth that price?
The price alone makes this a serious decision for growers.
Having bought Omnisphere 2 years ago as one of my first major investments in my professional career as a producer, I can wholeheartedly agree that Omnisphere 2 is worth it.
The amount of presets it comes with, the insane amounts of plugin functionality, its built-in granular synth, and more. are amazing. Omnisphere is arguably a better synth than many hardware options three times as expensive.
